Polyethylene Wax, also known as PE Wax, is an ultra low molecular weight polyethylene consisting of ethylene monomer chains. It is obtained from low-pressure ethylene polymerization process and used in various sectors of plastic industry. Most of the waxes have the same basic structure, but the various production processes yield products with distinctly different properties, and these properties have a major impact on the use of products. Polyethylene waxes are widely used in the production of color concentrates (masterbatches). For the production of color concentrates is recommended to add 5-10% PE wax.
